Maximum Occupancy of Rental Properties

A friendly reminder before you arrive –

Each property has a set Maximum Occupancy for the number of guests allowed in the property at anytime.  Be sure you’re aware of the max occupancy for the property you’ll be staying at.  These occupancy limits are serious.  The result of exceeding these limits at any time is denial of entry and or immediate eviction and forfeiture of any and all rental monies.  This is not negotiable.  If you’re uncertain, be sure to call our office ASAP so we can avoid any issues – 970-728-8838 | 877-450-8838.
Parking

Effective Wednesday, June 19th any vehicles entering the Town of Telluride will be stopped at a barricade.  Be sure to print off a copy of your reservation confirmation and present this at the barricade.  You’ll be issued a temporary 2 hour pass for your car.  We will issue you a barricade pass for your car at arrival.  Call us ahead of time and let us know how many barricade passes you’ll need for the cars in your party.  We will assist you with parking at properties.  Typically there is one reserved spot for each rental property.  It’s your responsibility to find and understand parking regulations for any additional cars.  Latitude 38 is not responsible for any parking tickets issued, or cars that are towed.  If you have any questions call us as far in advance as possible.

Allegiant Air Lands in Montrose with Service from Phoenix and San Francisco

Thanks to a deal the Telluride Montrose Regional Air Organization (TMRAO) negotiated with Allegiant Air, the slopes and Main Street should be bustling with an abundance of guests from the San Francisco Bay area and Phoenix this winter.

Starting with regular biweekly flights December 15, Allegiant will fly direct between Montrose (MTJ) and
Oakland International Airport (OAK) and Phoenix/Mesa Airport (IWA) at a greatly reduced rate. Prior to Allegiant service, average round trip fares from the San Francisco Bay area and Phoenix ranged between $400 to $600 to the region. This winter, Allegiant will offer an introductory one-way fare from Oakland from as low as $113 ($226 round-trip) and from Phoenix starting as low as $83 one-way ($166 round trip)*base fare not including bags, reserved seats or other extras. “The TMRAO has been researching and pursuing a low cost carrier for more than a year. The first annual Ride Festival will take place on Saturday, August 25th and Sunday, August 26th at the Telluride Town Park, in Telluride, Colorado.

Telluride Town Park festival gates opening at noon daily and bands playing until 11 p.m. on Saturday the 25th and 10 p.m. on the Sunday the 26th.
The Fred Shellman memorial stage in the Telluride Town park has been said by artists to be one of the most scenic venues to perform.  Festival goers have known for years that Telluride is one of the most scenic places to see live music and some of the biggest names in entertainment i.e. James Brown, Grateful Dead, Widespread Panic, David Byrne, Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, Phish, Bonnie Raitt  to mention a few who have graced the stage.

With 2012 Ride Festival headliners Ben Harper, Big Head Todd and the Monsters, Los Lobos (one of the greatest live bands in history), JJ Grey, Mofro, North Mississippi Allstars, The Lumineers and 9,000 daily tickets available, this new Telluride festival is shaping up to have all the elements of a soon to be staple in the Colorado music festival network.

In 2011 the inaugural USA Pro Cycling challenge took place in Colorado, with nearly one million roadside spectators, television coverage by three major networks, broadcasting to 161 countries worldwide; and took American cycling to a level never imagined by race coordinators, spectators or the race participants which included Cadel Evans, Andy Schleck as well as other Tour de France podium winners, Olympians, World Champions and the crowned first ever champion of the USA Pro Cycling Challenge, Levi Leipheimer of Team Radio Shack.
